GLENVIEW, Ill. – The Western Golf Association and Korn Ferry Tour announced today a five-year partnership with NV5 to serve as the title sponsor for the Evans Scholars Invitational. The tournament, which will formally be renamed the NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank, will return to The Glen Club in Glenview, Illinois, on May 23-29, 2022.

“We are excited to welcome NV5 to the Korn Ferry Tour family as the title sponsor of the newly-named NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank,” said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin. “With NV5's commitment and the accompanying five-year extension, this tournament will remain a staple on our Tour and in the Greater Chicago community for years to come.”

The NV5 Invitational is an annual event on the Korn Ferry Tour, featuring an international field of golf’s rising stars competing for a spot on the PGA TOUR. Scottie Scheffler won the inaugural event in 2019, using his victory as a springboard to PGA TOUR stardom. The event’s other two champions, Curtis Thompson (2020) and Cameron Young (2021), earned their PGA TOUR cards in August at the end of the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2020-21 wraparound season.

All proceeds from the championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation and its mission to award full tuition and housing college scholarships to high-achieving caddies with limited financial means.

“We’re excited to partner with NV5 as we continue to bring the next generation of PGA TOUR stars to the Chicagoland area to compete each year,” said Vince Pellegrino, WGA senior vice president of tournaments. “As title sponsor, NV5 will increase our ability to raise critical funds for caddie scholarships, making a tremendous impact on the lives of young men and women nationwide.”
