GLENVIEW, Ill. – Current PGA TOUR player Trace Crowe joined officials from NV5, Old National Bank and the Western Golf Association on Tuesday to preview the 2024 NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank, which will be played at The Glen Club on July 24-28.

In 2023, Crowe joined reigning PGA TOUR Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler and 2022 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year Cameron Young as a winner of the NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank. He went on to earn his PGA TOUR card for the first time by finishing second in the final stage of PGA TOUR Q-School.

Crowe spoke to the impact winning can have on a Korn Ferry Tour player’s pursuit of reaching the PGA TOUR.

“I was playing on conditional status and playing OK, just not really getting much out of it, and everything just kind of clicked in Chicago,” Crowe said of his playoff victory in 2023. “It gave me the confidence and the belief that I can be where I am now.”

Crowe has two top 25 finishes on the PGA TOUR this season. Players will be trying to follow him this summer, as the NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank falls during a critical stretch leading up to the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, where 30 PGA TOUR cards will be awarded to top finishers.

Fans can purchase tickets for the championship at www.nv5invitational.com/tickets. Upgraded tickets for the Trophy Club, an open-air venue and beer garden on the pivotal par-3 17th hole, are also available.

All proceeds from the championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which offers full tuition and housing scholarships to deserving caddies across the nation. There were 1,130 Evans Scholars enrolled in 24 leading universities nationwide last year.

Northwestern Evans Scholar Marissa Wielgos, a caddie from Elgin Country Club in Illinois, shared what the Evans Scholarship has meant to her during the preview event.

“To have earned the Evans Scholarship and be here is more than I could have ever imagined,” she said. “This scholarship relieved my family of the financial responsibility of sending me to my dream school, and it continues to give me a community and opportunities that are invaluable.”
